Well i will be installing a Pioneer Rear View Camera to the new morgan. I'll be senidng it onto the factory once that and the headunit an Avic X1BT arrives. The camera's dimensions are 50 (W) x 25 (H) x 20.5 MM. I'm just wondering where you guys reckon it would be best. At the moment i'm thinking area 1, at the top of the numberplate area. As it wont easily be spotted there. But if it was put here would that mean you would have problems taking on or putting off the numberplate. Looks like there is some clearance there. Any other ideas of where to put it?

Funky, as this picture shows, are 1 may be tight, unless they drop the plate and line it with the lower edge. That unit looks pretty large - have you considered one of these a smaller unit (one that only shows the actual camera eye? There used to be a company that actually mounted them in the middle of the BMW logo and wired it through to the Sav Nav screen, so I would imagine a similar set up could work with the Morgan. Just a thought...

This has got me thinking about parking sensors, has anyone fitted any to an Aero?

Funky, Why are you fitting the camera and not sensors? is it a system you have used before?

I have sensors on my lotus and i really don't like them. They were such a waste of money and they really don't work well at all, in the end i just had them disconnected because they'd beep even when there was nothing behind you! I've used a reversing camera in a merc and it works a treat i find. I also love gadgets tho so i love how you can have it on even when your not reversing to just see the traffic behind you. Plus it was not too much extra for the camera that goes with the headunit. I thought it worth it!
