No, they took in another one, it is a slightly darker blue than mine, a Mitsubishi blue and it will probably be £39,995

Unbelievable, Series I's at £40k - it will be interesting to see if Series II's (and III's) prices harden too. The only down-side is that Morgan prices for the Series IV are also heading North.

I don't necessarily see this as a firming up..

When I was doing price comparison for insurance purposes I worked out a formula which took into consideration about 15 factors of Morgan Aero's. including veriable factors such as mileage as a pence per mile.

When I input all the advertised car details over the last 2 years (from Miscellany adverts) the formula devised worked out all the predicted prices.

Without any fiddle, they worked out all pretty much within a few hundred pounds of the advertised price and unsurprisingly the trend away from the prediction tended to be around which dealer was advertising. Hence dealer pricing trends.

Whilst I have not input the details of this car, it is where I would expect (car & dealer combo) once you look at all the veriables I would say it fits as well.

I will say that there is also a Morgan Aero Mk1 at the moment advertised for only £33k... so whilst prices seem to be holding above the £30k mark they do conform in a predictable way... I think a trend up is only down to newer and lower mileage cars coming onto the market.

There are obviously a few exceptions but these tend to be because of mitigating circumstances.
