Any update on the availability of fitting instructions. It would really make the case for purchasing for own fitting if it is clear on what has to be done. I see that nothing has been added to Morganatica site.

Having fitted the kit I can thoroughly recommend the springs. I have now done about 500 miles and have not bottomed out over speed bumps or had any issues whatsoever. The instructions were straight forward when you start taking the suspension apart. The reassembly is easier, as there is no load on the spring, and the adjusters allow you to balance the two sides and get the height right.
The handling inspires confidence.
I have no connection with Suplex. I am self taught but have a lot of experience taking apart and rebuilding Morgans.

I just heard from Borghi in Milan who has fitted the Suplex kit for me. He has said that on the road test the was a noticeable improvement with the front suspension more compliant.

Certainly there are some rough bits of road around the back streets of Milan but I don't imagine he had a chance to try it in some hard cornering

The weather here is terrible at the moment. In the last month we have had almost constant rain with only 3 or 4 really sunny days. To top that off we have been hit by an example of Murphy's Law in action.

The express-way road along the lake passes through a lot of tunnels, due to geological subsidence one of the southbound tunnels has been diverted to the northbound tunnel making it one lane each way. Last Friday night they discovered subsidence in the northbound tunnel so now both tunnels are closed for maintenance. For the next 6 weeks, at least, all traffic, including hundreds of heavy vehicles a day, must pass along the lakeside road and through the various small villages and small tunnels. They have had to make various sections alternating one-way to avoid two heavy vehicles getting jammed and blocking the road. Delays are measured in hours.

All this is to say I am at least waiting till it stops raining before going to collect the car

Peter, Murphy has obviously left us temporarily for north Italy!!!! Sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope you get to collect your car soon!!

I just checked the forecast. For the next two weeks only next Wednesday and Thursday are given as fine. Minimum temperature will be 9 degrees, that means the mountain tops will probably get snow! We lit the fire last night and I am sure we will do so again in the next few days. Unbelievable Looks as though the sun will start shining from the 1st of June.

You have to feel sorry for the guys doing the Mille Miglia
