It might be styling...but Morgan should be all about long louvred bonnets in my view. There's something rather nice sitting in the car in heavy traffic looking at the heat shimmering out of the upper louvres!

This is the thing I love most about my Morgan as well. The view down the long louvered bonnet is almost worth the entire price of the car.

I have to agree with this as well. Better to be stuck in heavy traffic with a nice view down the bonnet than in a modern car where you can't usually even see the bonnet. That's one of the things I dislike about modern cars the most - the disappearing bonnets.
