I note Stratstone advertising in the Mog Mag the new 3.7 Roadster as having a 3.0L Jaguar engine. Interesting.

Probably not Graham......nor Plus 4s either. The same advert shows a Plus 4 with the latest engine... 10bhp, 97 lb/ft and 44 mpg! The price the quote is a tad misleading as well... £35,400 may be the 2012 price for a base Plus 4 but most are a lot more than that!

Yup. Problem with such dealers (doesn't apply to them all of course) is that cars are just a commodity, they could be selling anything as they have no interest in the product... Cheers,

The Stourbridge outlet is only about 5 miles from Mike Duncan's. What's going on? This indicates anticipated closure soon. Those who know me will be very aware that I am an unashamed fan of Mike and Ben's, so if this post sounds a bit partisan- that's 'cos it is! I don't want to rehash all the comments I've posted in the past on the 'changing face of Morgan Dealerships' The reasons, pitfalls etc have been well aired on here. I was 'intrigued' -and I'll leave it at that- to see the comment (I presume expressed as a statement not a question?) regarding 'anticipated closure soon' because those of you who know the Duncans will be well aware that if Mike did intend to close or move to another site he would have the courtesy to tell his customers in good time. Moreover, it is no secret that he and Ben have always been up front about their reluctance to work on the Aero because of the cost of the diagnostic equipment vis a vis the return to a small business What also worries me is the general lack of specialist knowledge that many of the new dealers have. Has anyone heard the story about the trad owner who was told by the shiny new dealer he visited that among the work needing to be done on his car was the checking and replacing of the wooden dowels holding the frame joints together. Oh dear!

Welcome back South Wales Reporter, we have missed your presence! Trust you now fully recovered and running round like a spring chicken? Yes, fine thanks Brian. A long rehab ( and as I was told, it had to be very gradual) but I'm really pleased with the results. It's wonderful how much ten weeks in a wheel chair or using two crutches totally non weight- bearing concentrates the mind!! Best wishes G

Great to hear you are firing on all cylinders, Gerwyn!! I have recently spent 10 weeks in an immobilisation sling after shoulder surgery and it is absolutely amazing what you cannot do with one hand!!!! Thankfully I am now back in fine fettle.
Cheers!
