Morgan 4/4 with Ford CVH Motor and Electronic Ignition Systems from 1985. A had a failure in my system, after some raining days and then very warm weather, the motor is suddenly running low Rpm and has no power, aim not able to run. This happens on 3 Year 2 times, after replacing the Electronic parts problem is gone. I want change now this system, if somebody has an advice or ideas. Thanks for help

My starting point would be to speak with Burton Power ( www.burtonpower.com) - no link to me just been pleased with the service that they have provided me (albeit on my Kent Engine)....

I seem to remember there's a vacuum hose on the CVH that can perish on the front left of the engine as you look from the front of the car that leads to the same symptoms.

The vacuum is coming from the carburator through a small hose which is normaly connected to the pipe indicated by the red Arrow. This round device is part of the vacuum timing advance and includes a rubber diaphragme which moves by difference of pressure.  Regards

Vacuum is working, ... i suck  Aim on holiday now, will finish the work in 2 weeks, But perhaps I could order new electronic system if somebody advice which is ok for CVH or Ford 4 cyl.
