But would you spend £40k plus on it....... Certainly not, but doesnt stop me enjoying the beauty of it. I would love a basic M3W, but I dont have the money to put down on one, or it would be my daily driver. I certainly wouldnt want to daily drive a special edition model.

Doesn't look like true Brooklands windscreens on the 3W, but they do appear to be lower in height than the 'standard' ones. Am I wrong?

I think both models will be popular and a second anti tramp bar on a roadster at last!

I'd really like to see the "Brooklands" steering wheel. I wonder if it will be available separately... I saw the prototype Roadster yesterday and there are quite a number of other detail changes, some of them as a result from feedback from the Nordkapp team. The Brooklands wheel looks really good and has the Bluemel badge on the spokes. The new seats are also excellent and must be the best seats so far fitted in a Trad. I really liked it and was sorely tempted to order one. It appears that the European Dealers are already snapping up this limited edition.

I wonder how easy it is to keep the satin paint finish looking good ? Anyone got experience of this ?

Any details on the exhaust setup? Would love to see some pics and details of it.

The steering wheel looks good. http://www.windingroad.com/articles/news/morgan-announces-brooklands-edition-roadster-and-3-wheeler/I am investigating Moto Lita doing me a 4 spoke leather trimmed wheel so I can see the rev counter and petrol gauge, they even have a morgan boss for it. I think the leather spats might save my thumbs from bump steer. Would not consider a wooden wheel for any distance of touring.

I've just had a reply from John Kimble of Kimble engineering who make the Brooklands wheels. They do them to fit the current range of Trads although the hubs he has don't have a horn push. I suspect that he can provide a hub for the Three Wheeler as well. If the steering wheels on the Brooklands Editions are true "Brooklands" they will be plastic type rims, not leather covered.
