I've spoken to BHM and they reminded me of your similar sounding difficulties but which also seem to be a bit different as it was the stator that was at fault wasn't it, and then the compensator afterwards? Maybe mine is the same too - it's very hard to tell noises and it's not THAT bad yet...

mine has the same noises/issue. ugh. wondering how much of the parts to replace are morgan specific/custom that would have to be sent from the factory to my dealer in the states. very frustrating noise/issue, especially the part where the entire engine has to be pulled to even diagnose.
