Are all three wheelers as much fun, or is it the magic Morgan ingredient?

With most 3 wheeled vehicles you need to avoid eye contact with other road users unless you enjoy scorn and sympathy.
With the M3W you feel as though you're driving a cross between an old Bugatti and a Pagani Zonda in terms of pride, and simply everyone loves it!
The intoxicating joy this gives is rather difficult to put a price or finger on...

how's your car now after the compensator assembly replacement? mine got worse like yours. waiting on morgan to return from vacation to address the issue that i've brought up with my dealer in the states mmmm try lubricating the drive belt with Silicone lube - it might work - and if not no harm done! Failing that it could be the dreaded bevel drive - which version have u got ? The factory would be able to tell u. The car is only 8 weeks old so has the latest bevel box. The bevel box is actually very quiet, the problem lies within the compensator assembly (cush drive) this is what is being replaced.

The compensator (Cush drive) was replaced and the car is now a pleasure to drive again. I have done 300 miles since and no signs go the drivetrain rattle. I am about to do a 2500 mile trip to Italy and back so hopefully it will not re occur.

the cush drive/compensator is located directly behind the engine and requires the engine to be pulled which is a huge pain in the ass. have seen it done twice and even morgan will admit to it taking close to 2 hrs to remove and another couple to put back.
not fun

who did you order the car from? in theory a harley shop could do the work and the dealer could provide some docs from morgan regarding the steps needed to pull it. those were the circumstances for the times i've seen the engine pulled
honestly i think a talented mechanic/technician could actually improve quite a few things that the factory botched. the key really is getting a good person locally which sounds like from earlier in the thread someone might have located for you in kuwait.

My compensator sounds like a biscuit tin full of nuts and bolts being shaken vigorously, but only on tick over and it gets louder when warm. It's on the list of items that require attention at its first service. Still, it starts on the button and nothing has fallen off! What more could I expect. Now where did I put that list.
