Defendall (paint protector)
Job was completed by RPM this afternoon and I'm sure will be a great help in stopping those chips. Hope the photos help Jays.

Hi,
these are exactely the same places I let protect on my 4/4 Sport with a transparent protection film.
But I have them just on two more places: Above on the side "plates" respectively "B-pillars" where the lower part of the mounted sidescreen-panels rub on the paint when the car´s got shaked on the road.
After two years these are the most abraded pieces of the protection film. So perhaps worth to add the film there for your car.
I definitely can recommend the protection film (especially on the lateral "running-boards" that therefore can - for a cleaner look of the car - stay "untroubled" by the (IMHO) ugly rubber strips that one often can find on the MOG´s).
Kind regards,
George

Hi Brian,
actually I don´t have a detailled photo of that part of the car but I could try to take one. Have to see if the weather gets better tommorrow (actually it´s rainig and I think it´s too dark in the garage for a good picture).
I´ll try to take a picture in the next days.
George

OK, here we go, I hope that it´ll work (my first posted picture on TM....). Find enclosed a picture of the left B-pillar of my 4/4 Sport with a protection film-element against the rubbing side screen. I´m not entirely happy with its cut but I´ll will get them renewed in the next months together with a new film on each running board (the white marks on parts of the films edge are remaining polishing wax). Hope I could help with the picture. Kind regards, George

Good idea there George....I'll put some in the same place I think!
PS...Ever thought of posting a photo of your dashboard? I seem to recall it was quite interesting!
All the best.
