Clicking on the small photo links to a larger one. Very nice dash. The instrument panel finished in leather is a great idea.

This is the (while it was still assembled) sorry shape of the dash that was in my '66 +4.

Since I have a CNC router at work, I'll likely remake the dash (with holes for the custom gauges) out of something (plastic, base wood, etc) and then have the whole thing "hydrographic dipped" in a wood finish and coated. This'll open up a wide variety of finish choices that would either be too costly or just impossible to do.

Plus 8 dash modifications during a bad winter, kept me busy in the garage and our of the wife's reach for a few days .......

Before the modification:

The two dash boards together:

Wondered why I had started this ..... However I had tagged every wire .....

Job done ......... now I know why I started it.

Plus a new steering wheel to finish off the job.
