Yes, But to me a Jag is a large luxurious saloon, or a medium sized sports 2 seater (more GT than sports), not some inverted hedgehog, to paraphrase Simon (even if I did own an early 5 door Rangie for 12 years... ).
As for the new Defender, my feelings have already been made clear - hence the decision to spend a lot on refurbing my 1990 90 - it will see me out I expect (so long as I can keep it out of the hands of the pikeys...).
For those that like that sort of thing (SUV's) I guess the Jag part of JLR should offer a luxo version - but it looks rather like the Evoke to me...

I presume that Victoria Beckham is the new design supremo at Land Rover. Graham, no self respecting Pikey would ever be seen in the new defender, so it may well be worth considering. Just how many farmers will tow their cattle trailer with that?
