If you thought Friday was busy you wouldn't have liked yesterday!

The trick with Goodwood is to get there early if you can. The crowds aren't really a problem until lunch time, by which time you can be out on the quieter parts of the track. This was Lavant corner at 12:30 pm during the GT40 practice session, as you can see hardly a crush.





Anyway, back to Morgans. I didn't see these on the track unfortunately but I snapped this pair of Plus Fours in the paddock yesterday:







Rupert Richards' 1955 model and Malcolm Paul's from 1959.

My favourite event of the year..... I'm there all three days. Huge fun.

Love those GT40s.
Guess one will have to be added to the home race circuit - most likely in Gulf colours.

Gulf colours, just love them. I have had both a Caterham and an Atom in those colours and they look super, never a GT40 tho, who knows perhaps someday

A rather wet end of the day today - but a fabulous race with the big Fords against Minis and Alfas...

I watched a lot of today on the live stream. A pity about the rain this afternoon but over all the weather was better than forecast.

Among those taking part this year are Mark Blundell, Stirling Moss, Dario Franchitti and Rowan Atkinson, while the event also features a celebration of the life of the great Jim Clark, the Ford GT40, and the anniversary of the Dambusters. Another highlight is Murray Walker's commentary on the children's pedal car race.

We were there on Friday and Sathurday. Fantastic event. Love the effort (most) spectators put in their outfits. Enjoyed the classic car park, the action on the track and in the air. Will go again next year.
