Post Photobucket reboot from March 2011

As promised, some pictures.................

This gives an impression of the size - it's HUGE!
The handle goes out of shot.

The box lid............

The handle has a neoprene buffer to prevent damage........

Plenty of clearance as you can see.

When in position it's a good job it has that buffer.

With my wooden adaptor in place.

Jacked up.

This final shot shows the scale of the handle. This is the upper half. The ruler is lined up with the far end.

More to follow >>>>>>>>>>>

Post Photobucket reboot from April 2011 continued.........

The lifting bar is made up Pete, and is the third version. The first one was a short (say 10") piece of floorboarding with wooden edges to stop slippage. Then I moved to a more streamlined version which fitted between the over-rider brackets with a rough cut U section metal channel.
Then when I fitted my undertray I needed something a bit better, so the full width bar is made to spread the load a bit more. There's a simpler version for the rear.
Even with the alloy L sections though, the timber does bend a bit. The red & white electrical tape is for centrering.
At the rear I've used a couple of trim nipples, male lift the dots, in the floorboards to locate the bar.

This is the front bar in progress...........
