I have a week 45 build for a US spec, just curious how long from that week that I should expect it to be completed, then sent over (I've been told its flown over). The wait is brutal!

Thanks!

I hope you get it quickly. After all, "Tide and Time wait for no man..."

Couldn't resist - apologies to the OP !

For what it's worth - for the UK I've been given a week 48 build and an estimated delivery 3 weeks later.

Imagine waiting 3, 4, 5 years.... as was once the case!

I placed my deposit down in May, and was offered August by the dealer, but that was actually too soon for me (nowhere to put it!). My dealer has followed up with a rough timeline of 4-6 weeks, so it should be here by Christmas. I have been very happily surprised by these timelines given my initial research earlier this year.

So my dealer still hadn't sold his "allotment" when I ordered in June, so I'm getting my car November 2nd...

My impression is that in the U.S. build date is around 3-4 months from order from dealers that still have an allotment reserved with MMC. But if you order from a dealer who has already sold their allotment, you may have to wait longer - some have reported waiting a year early on, but I think that's a thing of the past.
