Graeme the word Jowett Javelin brings a sence of fear back to me . I was a lad playing with my mates on our bikes . Two sisters one my age and one a year older . I was chatting to the younger and my bike fell over putting a scratch down the nearside door of her fathers Javelin . I off like a bat out of hell , never knew if she told her dad but I lived in fear of the man . Once in their house again trying to chat them up one lad said her father was heading up the street . I never shot out the front door or rear The kitchen window was open . I dived out and the chap was no gardener just a pile of sky high blackberry bushes in I went scratched to hell . It did not stop me I was out and over the fence like a POW .
Dont know if to put happy days or randy ways

If kids ever come near my cars I tell them to put their bikes on the ground away from the cars.

I would be about a 11 years old at the time my knowledge of girls was below Zero .
