Hi everyone I am a proud owner of a 1939 series 1 Morgan, (coventry Climax) I managed to break the crank in July 2012 due in the main to very low oil pressure.I Located a replacement from George Proudfoot had the bearings remetalled at Formalls vintage racing and rebuilt the engine last winter.
I am happy to report that the engine is now ran in having driven over 1000 miles this summer and the oil pressure is showing a good 50 psi when hot.
I have pistons and linners free to a fellow series one owner if of any use please contact me.
