@Clipper - I'm a big fan of carbon fiber, and while I likely won't go that route with my MogRod, that is one damn fine looking dash you've got there. And the extra 'insert' on the left side adds one heck of a nice touch to the overall appearance!
Here are a couple of images of the daskboard for my 1976 Plus 8. This style of switchgear uses Lucas rocker switches rather than flick switches that it superseded and was introduced in line with new automotive safety legislation in 1968. The Plus 8 was the first Morgan to use the new switchgear.

Before we extended our house, I did have a JE Engineering V8 complete with four Dellorto DRLA 45s in our kitchen. The missus got so frustrated that one day she threw a table cloth over it, laid place settings and served supper on it!
PS Here's a photo of my other 1976 Plus 8. The non-standard parts are mahogany dashboard, smaller than standard Astrali steering wheel and virtally invisible oil warning light, higher red-lined rev-counter and clock.
The dash centre panal is completely standard Morgan and after 37 years, everything works as it should!
In terms of hydrodippin aka watertransfers as some were mentioning earlier, my brother does this for his job and has done dash inserts. Looks better than other car manufacturer's fake wood. I'll try to get some pictures.
