This is a common problem and I've had it on two Morgans. The original rubber tubing is rubbish. It probably cost Morgan 1P per mile! Replace it with clear plastic tubing available from any reputable motor factors or even Halfords. Fit and forget.

The tubes on mine are thin black rubber...perhaps silicone. Plastic on my MINI and one of those pops off every couple of months! At least easy to get to compared to the Morgan. Hmmm...  The pipe going from the bottle through the bulkhead is clear plastic. Perhaps it changes? Nothing for it, I'll have to take the dash off and get fix the jet.
