Crowbar: Congratulations from Far West Texas. Having learned about the Morgan resolution in regards to the steering and bevel box issues, I have decided to proceed with the 3W next year, so you will have a new Texas/ New Mexico member. I will also follow your style in keeping the 308, as well as all the other toys. The 3W will make an excellent hangar mate for the Pitts Special. Regards, TN
Crowbar, just spotted the 997 Cab in the garage too, you very bad boy. I fancy a 997 GTS Cab PDK.
So Donald...is this the replacement for the M3W you're considering selling? My Morgan seems to enjoy the 997's company, I'd echo others and say that keeping both are in order!
I bolted the "glove box" bag in yesterday, perfect fit, very stable, easily reachable, and dosen't sffect passenger space at all now as it sits a touch higher compared to the sag from the hook and loop mounting.
How many miles from Dallas? cam't tell if your east or west of Hunt?
Bigpop,
Miles from Dallas approx. 300 miles, takes about 4.5 to 5 hrs to drive depending on traffic and your driving style.
We are located south and east of Hunt, off from IH-10 heading towards San Antonio. Send me a PM if you head this way, and we can get together for a drinks and conversation.
Piloto, you already have a 3 wheeler. Granted, your Pitts has two wings in addition to the 3 wheels, but that just gives you an extra dimension of maneuverability to worry about.
Congrats Crowbar. Glad to see your car came in. I'm interested to see some other Texas cars as they come in. I hope to join you guys in the next year. At 6'4", I don't think I will have that same problem with the steering wheel, but I do have some concerns about cramming the legs in and being able to fit the peddles.
