It could be the result of Fine silver known as SILVER DOLLAR or ALUMINIUM SILVER in the paint world, most silver colours always have a small amount of Trace Toners added, hence how you achieve different coloured silvers, however by simply applying a raw silver you would achieve this affect.
There are approximately 8 different grades of silver the Paint Manufacturers can add to there systems.
