Helmet AND seatbelt can be dangerous, unless you use a HANS device, so I can understand that if you use one you shouldn't use the other. I think I already mentioned that BMW specifically asked for a regulation change accross Europe so that the C1 bike could be used without helmet. The UK refused and BMW almost didn't sell that bike up there. A major cause of death amongst drivers during races was through violent head movements, where the body remains in place because of the seat belts but the momentum keeps the head moving forwards, causing a Basilar skull fracture resulting in serious injury or immediate death.
Of course the M3W seatbelt is not as efficient at restraining a body as a "race" seatbelt, but anyway, for continued use in countries where the law demands Helmet AND seatbelt to be used simultaneously, I'd suggest M3W drivers to use one of these:

I have to say I wouldn't be here anymore, if I would drive the 3W without a helmet. But it's something a little bit else, I used to drive the 3W also for time-attack track racing and I turned the 3W upside down once. The helmet saved me. But I don't go for track racing anymore after that accident. At least it raised up my interests for classic cars and that's much safer

I'm surprised that no one has commented on the fishtail exhaust system in my photos of the polished alloy Brooklands. I find it rather disappointing in both design and construction, looking very chunky.

The silencer guard seems unfinished or they ran out of metal. Difficult to describe, a picture will explain everything, but whoever built that thing up and put it on an expensive car needs new spectacles..!! Eeeugh.

Delivery of the Brooklands has been delayed due to issues with the exhaust.

This is what I call a classic fishtail exhuast , that also could have been offered to existing M3W owners as an option ?

It was interesting standing amongst the throng surrounding the two M3W's today. Folk were so excited by the fun factor & were leaping in for a play. This was immediately followed by a grimace and a comment about room or pedal size! The poor chap staffing the stand wasn't used to motorcyclists and the banter, and looked decidedly uncomfortable at times but did his best. The serious enquirers searched him out, the rest just had their photo's taken & enjoyed playing 'brum, brumm' Most had a comment upon leaving about the bottom line cost, but if they were like Honda Cubs the world would be a sadder place. I really like those louvres in the rear panel, though. They seem to break up the rather middle aged lines of that rear from certain angles, but are they merely aesthetic or are they purposeful? Stand man had no idea. Any clues on here..? The fan looks large but surprisingly subtle & unobtrusive. In fact, you almost have to look twice to see it although the NEC lighting isn't brilliant. Bet it's yet another noise to add to the cacophony, though.. Other than the M3W's, which I'm clearly biased about, there were few other bikes that stood out this year. One of these was the new 450 from CCM of Bolton, which starred full adventure styling and looked decidedly edgier than the usual oriental singles, or even the germanic derivative. Unfortunately, the backing poster was a floor to ceiling poster starring...wait for it...James Blunt. Cancel my cheque then, please.. Overall, a good day out (and thanks to m'boy for the free ticket..)
