The Comfort Kit was fitted to my M3W yesterday. My car didn't suffer bump steer as bad as others, but it was definitely there and I always seemed to drive with a Death Grip on the steering wheel.

The Comfort Kit has transformed the steering. Definitely no bump steer!!

I drove 115 miles of 'A' Roads home last night and it was an absolute delight. The Death Grip is a thing of the past!!

Its probably the best upgrade you can make to your M3W. Highly recommended joy

What does the kit consist of? If you have before & after pictures that would be great to see.

I'm pleased to hear a first report that's positive , I look forward to hearing what it's like on bumpy back roads .

Also as Tim says it'd be great to have some more details of what's been fitted .

That's fighting talk Mike..............

[opens new bag of popcorn, and sits waiting].

More to the point, I've just had a look at the MMC web site and can't find mention of the 'comfort kit'. What does it consist of and how much is it?

It should be supplied for free by MMC, as I read all these topics about bump steer on the M3W's!

They've done a Yorkshire version too (costs a lot less but does the same thing).

It's a bigger steering wheel with a more grippy surface... somestick.....lol

Actually, i'm a bit miffed about this comfort kit. I was hoping that I could pick up a 'pre-loved' M3W for a good price next summer, but now the comfort kit has arrived all my hopes are dashed....dashed!..I tell you!... banghead

Paul , nippymog posted prices of the updates on the Good updates for 2014 thread a couple of days ago . The 'comfort' upgrade is £198 fitted (at the factory) which sounds very reasonable , depending on what it is of course !

And Ruut , you'd better be careful , I got a severe telling off for making a similar suggestion !!
