That is what I am trying to find out. There has been talk of a spacer on the steering arms, new shock absorbers, front or back or both.
My educated guess is that it is just the spacer kit, but how they can charge £198 for that, I'm not sure.
They won't be able to afford to do it free, so what about cost price plus 10%?

Actually, i'm a bit miffed about this comfort kit. I was hoping that I could pick up a 'pre-loved' M3W for a good price next summer, but now the comfort kit has arrived all my hopes are dashed....dashed!..I tell you!...  Don't worry. Whilst there are lots of people who have bought an M3W, pretty much knowing what they were getting in to, and love them warts and all there are also a lot of "fashion victims" out there (you know: the types that queue at the shop to be the first to have the new version of a cell phone) and we are already seeing some on the market at much reduced prices. If you find one that is 2013 spec and does not have the kit fitted you will be able to bargain for a better price. You can also mention that it does not have the ‘Bevel box NVH’. In any case you should make sure you get it while it is still covered by warranty

Looking at the pictures posted of the 2014 models at the factory they seem to have new uprights , are these going to be included in the upgrade kit ?
Warbird could you tell us what you had fitted ?

I wonder who's going to be the first to criticise the OP for turning his car into an MX5 or have they all disappeared into the woodwork now ?  Mike not sure who this is aimed at, but I think the conclusion we reached was that those of us not experiencing bump steer had some of the very early cars. I'm at the factory in the next few weeks where I'll see if I can get a run in a de-bumped car just to see how it compares with the 'original' 3 wheeler.

I have been one of MMC,s biggest critics of the bump steer problem that some M3W owners have encountered.I bought my car in August 2012 and right from the off was very disappointed with the lack of response from the factory to my request for help to solve what I saw as a problem.
Then in March there is a change in management and also a major change in attitude to customer problems.
My car was the first customer car to have the steering comfort pack fitted at the factory.I went to the factory to test the car and was quite stunned that such a simple change in the way the track rod is attached can transform the car into in my opinion is now a total pleasure to drive without any bumpsteer at all.
I have since driven the car on all my testing routes round the Yorkshire Dales roads which both demanding on car and driver.I can not fault the steering/handling on all types of road surface.

The original announcement was that new shocks were included in the so called "Comfort Kit" To charge £198 just to correct a geometry design fault seems a bit excessive.
