Welcome Steve. Great to see you have got a BLACK car! They are certainly quicker than the rest innocent Love that 4 spoke steering wheel!

I also rather like your art work!!! Looking forward to seeing more and your luggage pods when you finish them.

Steve, Welcome!

Glad to see that the car has the "2009" shield on the dash, it was a special year for Morgan.

Jens is "a bit" biased about black cars...but his 2009 Roadster is certainly a looker. I have a "nearly black" 2009 Roadster and it is true that black 2009 Morgans go where other Morgans fear to go!

You are right about using the Morgan as a daily drive, they are not delicate little things as an article in the MOG Magazine this months makes clear, mentioning a 1999 Morgan with close to 350,000 miles on the clock... They do need a bit more TLC than "modern" cars, but nothing special. But can you imagine a 1999 Ford Mondeo with the same mileage? No, I don't want to either!
When the company BMW goes in 3 years and I retire I plan to make my Roadster my daily drive. Known as Aldermog it does all I need!

Hi Richard, thanks for your kind comments,
Hi Peter,
every time that I sit behind that Moto Lita wheel it feels special. I couldn't justify running the Morgan as a second car, it would be back to the scenario of conveniently jumping in the everyday car and sadly, the Morgan would have little use, very much like the Sebring!

I sold my everyday car literally a day before delivery of the Morgan, just for that reason, every trip even if its just for a loaf of bread or a newspaper is now invigorating.

Happy motoring,
Steve

Lovely car Dave, may your enthusiastic novelty of ownership never wane. Cheers
