On another note I was thinking of striping the Max up with the Gulf Orange Decal, what do you think and what number should it wear.  Dean a good idea, on the number front I'd suggest your age (69 I believe) but 33 would be more appropriate. I'm coming down with my daughter probably in the + 4 so I don't have to park with the aero riffraff  . Got some ideas for a WW1 wrap for it.

Have you tried booking through Quentin? Not sure if he has any vacancies - but worth a try.
His email address is travel@hopmog.co.uk Yes thanks. I have booked the tickets and parking through him but his accomodation package is from Thursday night to Sunday night which does not suit me. If anyone is interested in going he did have a couple of rooms left a few days ago.

yes - in a borrowed M3W with 15yr old son!
Had such a great time in 2012, had to go again. Booked ferry and Classic tickets with Quentin. Searched own accom as staying with family in Saumur Sat night.
Try airbnb.com for rentals in the area; still some good availability and way cheaper/ nicer than hotels
