I am pleased that you have found a way forward. I wanted to post earlier in this thread (but didn't in case it came across as a little glib) to say I have always found the Service dept. to be very helpful (although somewhat over stretched) on remedial work.

I hope you can also work something out on transporting your car. For what its worth, I've always worked on the basis that I/my dealer pay to get the car to MMC and they can pay to get it back to me. I don't know if this is standard policy - if it is, then it seems fairly sensible for MMC to split the cost with the customer and yet maintain some 'barrier' to discourage needless factory returns in cases where there are alternatives.

Gents

Thank you for the warm welcome, nice to see some of you that I’ve had the pleasure to meet have said some nice things (where do I send the cheques?) I have been a "silent" member of TM watching from afar (Morgan Three Wheeler mostly), trying to pick up issues that you have.

Regarding on-going issues I think I should post as and when i think is appropriate for me to do so (With my factory hat on).

If you have a specific complaint / issue or query then please PM in the first instance, give me a chance to respond and check things from my side before unleashing the hounds smile . Jay's is correct sometimes you may find it difficult to get hold of me, but please don't give up, leave a message I will call you back (promise).

Couple of points I’ve picked up on that i'm sure you'll be interested in;

Cam belt change is at 30,000 miles or 3 years and inspected very other service.

I’ve uploaded Three Wheeler Parts book and it can be downloaded from the link below;

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ua76k3193pfe8py/M3W%202011-2013.pdf

Please use this as a guide and remember to order any parts through your dealer, we do not sell parts directly to the public.

Have a great weekend

Mark

That's excellent Mr Evans. However, I need an answer urgently to the specific question I asked earlier:

Can the so-called "Comfort Pack" be fitted by dealers (especially for those of us who live in foreign parts) or is a return to the factory obligatory (and if so, why?)? I have been pestering my dealer about this and he has been trying to get an answer from the factory, so far without success.

Thanks and welcome Mark.
Had a first quick look at the parts book and it looks very useful even on tiny phone screen!
Cheers
