I just learned the new compensator is made by Centa Transmissions of West Yourshire and that is is a "clever reworked cushion drive." I wonder if it can be learned from what chassis number includes this improvement and if it can be purchased when the old one blows up. How much would one cost?

Yes the centa drive is retrofittable, unfortunately I don't have any pricing information to hand. It was introduced on 2014 models, so anything build with in the last two weeks will have it fitted as standard.

Would you confirm the improvement in performance between old & new. In fact seems there are several flavors of old. Thank you for posting. Your communication here would be very welcomed, & is much needed. We all want the samethings.

I can confirm a big difference. My understanding is if an old one fails then it is a like for like replacement as there are lots of old ones going strong. To upgrade to a new one has a cost.
