This week we purchased a 1952 +4 Flat Rad in a sad and sorry state. Been garaged for 39 years and not moved an inch in that time. Radiator has some issues, lots of surface rust, and the frame has been redesigned by someone with copious amounts of metal brackets where the wood should be. So far we have taken the front and rear guards off, going too be a labour of love.
We also got a bonus chassis, bellhousing, gearbox and stripped down engine from a Series 1 4/4.
Hopefully won't be too annoying asking questions about how to proceed on this journey.

Welcome to TM and wishing you good luck with your restoration. There is a lot of knowledge on here and I'm sure they will offer you any advise should you need it.

That should keep you out of mischief for a while Welcome to the forum. My father crawled all over both the Morgan and the MG at the 1948 Earls Court motor show. He decided on the MG, duly delivered in Sydney in 1949. It was the first blue MG to arrive in Australia. I often wonder if it is still in existence. He was worried about the wooden frame of the Morgan on Australian roads. Judging by the number of old Morgans still in existence it was probably an unfounded concern. At least with the Morgan, one way or another, everything can be repaired or replaced. Have fun
