But just about everyone that visits ends up emptying pockets... I think it's the Springer Spaniels that do the job  . The daft pair turn their eyes on you , melt your heart a bit, then Henry/Paul/Nick/Lawrie pounce saying "Suplex upgrade Sir" and you feel churlish not to say yes. Fortunately they've not said "Plus 4 Sir" (yet). Mind you, there's a very nice white Aero there, glad I cant afford that (sorry Boshly)! Jeremy

My concerns? PeteG, went to look at a 4/4. . came away wih a Roadster. Jays, went to get the cracked windscreen on his 4/4 changed. . . came away with a Roadster. I own a 4/4!  ps, Not just any 4/4, but Stanley. But I saved you Budster you did say you thought about going to look at the roadster that now sits in my garage  take a trip up, do not look at the spaniels park nose out for a quick get away should the urge strike you and if no comes out as yes just enjoy it

Bud. I'l bet they have a nice Duratec 2.0 sitting around that would slip right in and make Stanly a very happy little chap  Can they slip a 2.0 Duratec into a 4/4? If so, I'd be interested...

I own a 4/4! ps, Not just any 4/4, but Stanley. It is the dogs, they soften you up and then Paul does his stuff and that is it. I went there to look at a +4 and came away with a Roadster. Now Henry keeps talking about a new +8: I'm terrified to go there! It isn't any better if you go looking for parts. Mike seems to be able to sell ideas, brings in Lawrie and Caroline and then you may as well just give him your card. I tell you, they have a neat operation that makes you want to give them money! I suspect they want it all.

Peter. That is my fear; however! A 2.0 Duratec transplant for Stanley? Can a better gearbox also be fitted? (Mazda perhaps?) Aaaah. . .NO! . . . I can resist anything, except temptation.

If your going to go 2.0 Simon, it's only 200cc up on your present engine. You might be better off going the whole hog and aiming for a 2.5...

If your going to go 2.0 Simon, it's only 200cc up on your present engine. You might be better off going the whole hog and aiming for a 2.5... I think he wants a roadster but is unsure whether he would drive Stanley and a Roadster, mind you if one was yellow

Ooh!  and Jays has been encouraging me to visit Williams  But having read this great thread, I think I'll have to bide my time until there is enough in the piggy bank... fortunately geography is on the financial controller's side  Great discussion and info though chaps, thanks!
