You name some drummers who have deeply influenced myself. I saw Erskine among other of his performances with Weather Report, original staff with Jaco in 1978 in Düsseldorf. Excellent also on record with Steely Dan live in Oregon. Steve Gadd's range from Simon&Carfunkel to Chet Baker, Jim Hall and the likes. A sad and strange experience, I was in NY in 1980 (or 81?). We enjoyed Central park all day and went back to the hotel early evening. a lot of crowd came across our way back and we were wondering. Months later I bought the Simon&Carfunkel life recording from Central Park with Steve Gadd on drums and it was this damned day we missed the free show. Nevertheless nice associations with the youth.

No but in the process of building a studio with a friend so never say never .... I played in a band in the 70's mostly Rock / Blues standards . Sadly I have hands like "Keith" full of arthritis so doing an hour and half set these days would be tough. I can't imagine a day without playing even on holiday taking an Aria travel guitar when ever I go away ...plug in the headset and your playing
