Thanks Dan. Good idea. Could weld a boss onto the oil tank and install the valve with a nipple and use a three foot plastic hose, drain over night, and remove hose when finished. I feel much better about that than pulling a hose off the engine each time. Thanks again

My tank doesn't have a tank bung, stumped! You know, I've seen pictures of possibly early M3W's that have just the tank sitting up on the mounts and then others have shown the drain bung on the right lower end of the tank. Maybe they changed out tanks mid production?
