Well I've had my Supersports since November, using her most days for work and pleasure, and absolutely love it. I have never had the pleasure of driving something so individual and alive.
However, I am starting to get really upset with the wet lap I get whenever I drive her in the rain! The water appears to drip off the windscreen trim, down and onto my lap. I can also see the water pouring down the inside of the screen, and behind the dash. Anyone have any recommendations or should I just remove the screen and re seal it? Is this something Auto windscreens can do??
I have also just changed my head unit for a Kramer single din navigation unit, and the aerial wire had corroded and was wet too! I am thinking I need to pay more attention to the weather man when I plan on taking her out!

Have faith Artichoke.
I think most of us have experience of "leaky MOG's" - but it does seem to get sorted by a good dealer.
I don't think a leak test is undertaken at the Factory - usually has to be fixed later.

Good Luck

Thanks David. Hey, its not an issue and all part of the honour of owning something so special I suppose. I will man up, and maybe stop off at the factory when Im next passing.

Artichoke.
For most of us (though I can't speak for Aero owners) it is a case of minimising the leaks, rather than getting rid of them.
I would have hoped that an Aero Supersport (my dream Mog) would be "drier" than a Trad and would therefore hope that a bit of fettling by your dealer or the factory would improve the situation.
On a Trad, the black art of minimising leaks almost warrants an entire website of its own; but ultimately, most of the Mog owners that I know carry a towel in the car!
Good luck

My 4/4 is almost watertight roofwise.
But water enters through the floor, so I always remove the carpets after driving in the wet.
The glove compartment is another wet area, but I suspect this has been cured after I replaced the gaskets around the windshield wiper exit.

But when using the window washer fluid with roof up, the wind will squeeze it into the corners where it will end up on the occupants in my Mog.
So I use non alcohol washer fluid.

And a microfibre cloth to wipe condensation off the side windows!!

Worryingly Aldermog is, other than the small gap at the lower front of the side screen, waterproof driving into rain: a truck going past on a very wet road is a bigger challenge... Another reason to avoid Motorways!

If it's a supersport targa then there were different rubbers that were available AFAIK... you may want to call the factory.

Towels must match the car colour obviously. Either paint colour or interior colour, and top quality. grin2
