I should have expected that.

The comfort pack is instantly recognisable and would go from 5 to 9. Light as a feather and so much easier to steer.

BB as a new one does not whine and with the NVH really is no longer noticeable. 5 to 9.

Exhausts are not for everyone but 7 to 9.

Fan will be useful on holidays so is just a preventive medicine.

The whole package together is great, no need for a statistician to check cumulative numbers.

If I were on a budget I would do the comfort pack straight away. No question.

I would agree with all the above, after my experiences post upgrades.
How much are the sports exhausts ?
I am find it sounds a bit muffled now and want more roar, probably because I feel safer driving it harder.
Just debating whether to attack the baffles in the exhausts as fitted or do the sports thing.
So many jobs I could do on this and not enough time and money !

Hi Nippy
Do the baffles, a Sunday afternoon well spent.
If you fancy a trip over the M62 come and have a listen to mine before you start drilling.

Donald.
Thanks for the information.
But do you know if a job like this also can be done by the dealer ?

Hi Graham,

I did get a sample from a powder coat firm in Warrington last year, before I got my car. The match was very good to the roll hoops. I was told at Lifes that the bracket bushes would no longer fit if the rack and brackets were powder coated and would need some filing work. There was a risk of getting a rattle if too much of the bush was removed...so I didn't bother.

I did see a black rack at Thrill on the Hill, but the bush looked to have been replaced with a rubber grommet

Will keep my silver set up for now I think..

Laurens,

I have no idea what the dealers can do as because my car needed a lot of work the factory preferred to do it there. They needed to test with a new BB for example before diagnosing the compensator.

Q8,

I believe the new exhausts are 3.0mm and straight through pipes. I fancied the black ceramic coated ones but they were very expensive.
