the cost of working on these is one hell of a lot less than messing with Maseratis, so if you find one that needs a few monor jobs doing to get it back to 100% then it probably won't break the bank.
He knows what he's talking about - the Tony's previous car was a Maserati coupe (or was it the girly cab, chum?) PS - Charlie - not showing a PM from you; try again? Or simply ask the question on the forum and I will PM you the answers back if I can help.

Thanks Harry - my email skills clearly lacking!
What did you think of the 2-tone car at SGT? I gather a couple of people on here have owned it but it seems you have a fair bit of experience from the buyer side thanks Charlie

It was a 3200GT - coupe only and Turbo only. One of the most hillarious experiences with a hard roof out there. Just NEVER turn off the TC in the wet.. (Lucklily I never did...).
I'm sure SGT's S1 is a good car - Julian sold me mine, and he knows his stuff!
I guess, if you're looking at using this everyday, then would it not be worth perhaps stretching a little to have the wider body and more refined experience of an S3? Or all that and a thumping engine with the S4.

...more refined experience of an S3? Or all that and a thumping engine with the S4. Finally bought into the more sophisticated experience of the wide-bodied cars, eh mr_tony. Just make sure you get one with side-pipes. N.B. As they say in Harley circles: Loud pipes - save lives.

Later cars are still a lot dearer chaps! When the S3 hits £40k, I'll look at one myself...

 - I don't use mine every day. (Shame!) If I did, I'm sure I'd be in an S2/3/4 by now. As it is the S1 is a fantastic weekend car, and a very pure driving experience which I love. Ultimately (when I get the barn I need!) I'll be looking to have a GTN / S4 / V10 hooligan or whatever follows the S4. In the short term with one garage, a brace of V8's is enough for me. Though I might just have to swap the BMW in for an XJS or something with a little more soul. It's a fantastic car and the gizmo's are fun. But it's not that inspiring at the moment. Or maybe it's the 17.5mpg - which makes my sensible car worse mpg than the Aero!

I think in reference to the Maserati Spyder, as it was featured for a while in Desperate Housewives.... Still a pretty car, if somewhat dynamically hamstrung by the removal of the roof....
