All hail, worthy Morganeers!
I have had the pleasure of driving my New Plus 8 through rain, sleet and hail for three months now. Many of You feel that the standard wheels of the New Plus 8 look horrific. I share that opinion. The factory solution is for You to buy the Aeromax or Aero Supersports wheels instead. For GBP 2000+VAT+shipping.
My opinion is that the car is very expensive from the beginning, and I´d much rather lay that kind of money on a new solid mahogany dash and get a badge bar w Lucas lights AND door openers as well. So I have ordered that.
Nevertheless I wince every time I see my beautiful, beautiful car with those alloys. I ask Morgan Motors: "are there really no other options". Regrettably, not that they are aware of. Now, one of my patients sells tyres. And wheels. We have together discovered that the AEZ Valencia fits, and that they look rather good on! So, for all You fellow sufferers, help IS available, for around GBP 1000, VAT included.

Nope. I still haven´t managed to attach a single pic, but if You google for AEZ Valencia they will show up. I bought them from Alvén and Ingvarsson and they will ship internationally. Ask for Kjell Ingvarsson and he will knw the exact dimensions for the New Plus 8. It is a slim 21-spoke wheel available in dark or highly polished variants. They look super on...for GBP 857 fully fitted.In 18`. The original tyres will fit then as well and You can save the other wheels for Your winter tyres :-)

They look somewhat similar to the ones fitted to my mark 3 aero. When I get time I might fit one to the plus 8. Might just look better.

They do look smart, imo they have a BMW appearance. But as a BMW driver, that's not wrong....!

Dear Ruut, we all know there is more than a touch of BMW in the Plus 8 :-) But I must say, the new wheels made all the difference to the car. I now just look fwd to my new dash which I will receive in June from Luigi Borghi.

I googled the plus 8 and agree completely not my taste in wheels either. New ones you have chosen look great and am sure will be a much more stylish look. Do have one query tho why the 5 stud as opposed to the spin on? To much torque?

They look really nice, but I would hate to have to keep them bright and clean. My BMW M Sport had similar style wheels and the brake dust was very difficult to remove. In the end the car went as I just got fed up with the time it took to keep them clean.

To Randall: Yes, unfortunately no wire wheels can handle the torque
To Neil: I think my wheels will be very easily cleaned and maintained compared to wire wheels...
