Yes, have black and silver plates which go with the 1934 number plate. Badges will finish it off nicely.

Am reluctant to drill our the grill rivets at the moment but have managed to self-tap two badges to the grill. Still firm after a couple of runs but not ideal.

I also have a black and silver ageless plate. An experienced old mechanic walked around my car and announced that the brakes were not original. Disc brakes did not exist in those days. My plate was £500 and I consider it good value

That's good value! And one does get a laugh out of it too as I used to do when I had a fabulous C Type Jaguar replica which was spot on. Couldn't help but tell one or two that it had raced at Le Mans .... well it kept them happy and me amused!!

But nowt touches the M3W for sheer fun and the number of people who smile or wave at you is incredible and very pleasing too.

Must say I have enjoyed my bump steer and noisy transmission .... when wound up mine sounds like supercharged Alfa 8C!! Wonderful! Can't hear a bloody thing and holding on like grim death ..... for me that is what it is all about.

If I want a smooth quiet ride I use my 996 Turbo; end of story.

I've lost count of the number of times older folk have asked enthusiastically if mine is Pre- or Post-war? I truthfully say Post-war of course..... Post Gulf War if they push it smile

I was rather impressed recently when, having stopped in a layby on a route nationale in desperate need of a slash (does the M3W have a diuretic effect or what?), I was about to clamber back into the beast when a lorry driver hopped out of his cab and came over. "Le chassis est en bois, n'est-ce-pas?" he asked.

Not exactly, I replied. But I must say, he was nearly there and he was very interested when I showed him the ash between the steel and the aluminium.

Black and silver number plates must look good, look forward to seeing a picture when you have your badges fitted. Yes, the 3 wheeler ticks so many boxes - the first being FUN! It has that vintage look and feel and it seems to make everyone smile when they see it. I find it very amusing when people ask me how old it is.
