Hi,
As some of you might know I've spent the winter rebuilding a +4, a 2008 car that had been in an accident. As part of the registration process I have to pay for road tax, but the DVLA can't confirm how much. Anyone out there got a 2008 (Duratec) +4 2-seater? How much is the road tax?

Hi Mike,

Our 'August 2007 4/4 version, when we had it, was Road Fund Licence £145.00

On this wiki site there is a chart (Scroll down) which shows that £145.00 is a 'Band G' [Band G (151–165g/km)] in 2008, the year that we bought it one year old.

It shows band G for this year Petrol/Diesel at £175.00

If you know your emissions then you should get the RFL rate from this chart?

Hi Mike

I have a 2008 +4 with the 2.0ltr Duratec. Road tax renewed on 3rd October 2013 and it was £200 for 12 months. Their reference for the renewal was 9121 2727 0648 0167

PS forgot to add mine is also a 2 seater.

More information....

the 2002 +4 Duratec 2 seater is 172 G/KM so Band H which is £200 as stated.

Thanks All, I also found that there's a government website which tells me it's £205, so, post budget, that would be correct.
