As a postscript, my trim protectors arrived last week from Heart of England Morgans. I believe that Uncle Melvyn also does a version of this. The HOE protectors are a simple contoured U channel which slots over the B post trim, once the screws are loosened off, and prevents wear on the trim panel edge. Very worthwhile with short doors. but also finishes off long door cars. As delivered with protective film:  "Before"  "After"  And looking down on drivers side:

Very smart.
My HoE ones were amongst the first things I fitted to mine having seen them on here. They're excellent and I find them much more subtle than others that I have seen.

I've been on the HOE Morgan online shop... but cannot find the B post protective channel strips. Could you point me in the right direction with a link?
Forget that! just found them and placed an order...
