Perranwell ( www.perranwell.co.uk ) had a nice S1 Aero example at Mog08 for sale which had just come onto their books. I think it was a 2004 example chassis number 202ish with 16,000 miles. Asking price £38K. Contact them direct for more info....

The red roof and beading with the light blue (?) metallic body may put quite a few people off. Is the interior also red?

I think the body is silver and that the blueness is a trick of the light.
Personally, I like the silver/red combination - but as evidenced by the car at RTCC, it can be a difficult combination to sell.
Mine's chassis no. 240 and a late 2003, so this car is probably a 2003 flavour? Decent price for a late S1 if it's in good condition with good bits like sports exhaust, Mota Lita and quickshift. Comparable examples were going at RTCC for £40k in winter/early spring. The problem is going to be getting down to see it...

If you are correct and it is silver, that would be in the cars favour.

With red piping (and red interior?)? Not nice...
My car is bluey silver, but the piping is dark blue, as is the piping on the cream leather.
I think Trent is right - that colour combination may prove a tricky sale...
