I took the car to Holbrook Garage at Bisley for its MOT on Friday, all went well until they found a seized rear wheel brake cylinder. A call to Nick at Williams confirmed they held them in stock, so with a quick trip down to Horton, I was back at Bisley by 4.30pm and had a telephone call by 5.15pm saying all now fine, you can collect the car.
Excellent service by Martin at Holbrook Garage and Williams.

Siezed rear brake cylinders seem to be an endemic problem for all light cars, the rear brakes do so little work.

I was told that a regular " series of semi emergency stops" from 40 helps carried out when you grease the front suspension and check the car over helps. Not sure if it is so, but does no harm.
