Hello Watch Guys, A Happy Easter to all. Has any one seen the Thursday issue of " City A.M."
It has a large section on watches but most interesting is the new Morgan watch by Struthers. They are all individually made using period movements and start from 10.800 GBP.
The strap is made in Shrewsbury and the box uses the same ash as in Moggie frames.

Nice but you could buy half a 4/4 or three wheeler for the price of the gold one!

An interesting concept, but can't get used to the Morgan watch-strap, even if I could afford one.

Hello again chaps, Just got back from the Wempe shop in Bond St. Tried to have a look at the new Nomos Metro but even they haven't seen it.
It's a really cool, clear design which I like very much, also as with all the Nosmos range, a very good price at 2.390.00 GBP
I await details from the factory.

It is nice - also covered here. It was and I still cannot see the value in this watch. The movement is neither expensive nor particularly rare. The combined cost of the rest of the materials is relatively nominal. I can only assume that Struthers place a very high hourly rate on their time. One can only imagine how you would fare should one choose to attempt to resell this on the open market.
