I fell asleep after about 20 minutes... But it was quite a long day yesterday and participating in starting a large steam beam engine took a certain amount of, err, weight!  From the trailers that were showing last week the Land Rover is about the Series 1 - long before the Defender name appeared on the front/rear in 2000 - but I suspect the lack of real info as exhibited last night will carry on through the programmes... I have no doubt they will perpetuate JLR's marketing BS, errr, hype.

Watched it on catch up, it was ok up until the third advert came on then the TV froze with the white whirling circle, not so smart TV, I didn't bother trying to reset and went to bed.

I thought the best part was when Audi toting Gene Hunt crashed & burned..! Boy, was he cross. Do they not realise that because some people have such skill to make it look easy, it really isn't..?

I was quite disappointed by the content as I had one of these back in the distant past. Don't remember my car having two twin choke webers on it, so much for getting it back to original spec.
They were certainly popular in Sarff Lunden but so were all Fords at that time.
They must have featured "up Norff" or did you all drive Marinas ?
Quite a few of my mates in the Midlands had Series ! Humber Sceptics. Can't wait to see what they do with the poor little "T" type MG !
