Mike thoughts from other current threads. When you collect your M3W ask your dealer to supply some spare exhaust mounting bobbins as soon or later they will fail. Carry some wire for temporary roadside fix, you can wire exhaust to lift the dot tonneau studs. I had to do this. Also get some Morris V Twin oil for top up.

Hi Tim,
No car as yet, it seems that the reg document was returned to Krazy Horse as they did not fully cover the tax cost. So at least another couple of weeks to wait, also they have advised the comfort steering mod is still on back order and will not be fitted.
Krazy Horse were full of apologies and have offered to fit the comfort mod at the first service which they will carry out for free. They originally promised to supply the car with all the mods fitted in two weeks, that was four weeks ago so I am a bit fed up.
Hopefully I will get it soon and be a happy with it. I will post a pic and my impressions as soon I get it........

Hi Mike,

Sorry to hear that. I had a strikingly similar situation with the tax issue with mine, strangely enough. As it's all by post now & not a face-to-face at a local DVLA centre, it takes a return post to inform the sender that they're a tenner short due to the whispered VEL duty ride.

Progress, I guess..?

DVLA posted it back to me as the new registered keeper though, and not the supplying dealer, which made a hefty thud on the doormat as there were so many important papers in there. To speed things up, we just wrote a cheque for the ten pounds difference and sent it back by recorded delivery 'just in case'!!

There is now a statutory allowance on time in order not to fall foul of The System, so I'm still picking mine up on Tuesday. Mind you, wild horses would have a hard time by now..

Chin up, chum. It'll happen before you know it. thumbs

The first service labour charge is free you pay for materials. I was charged £123. Try to get Krazy Horse to pay for materials for messing you around.
DVLA sent the tax disc to me & rest to dealer. The Fords of this world have a different arrangement but Morgan being small means this convoluted arrangement since closure of local offices all via Swansea.

What a painful process and such a frustrating wait.

I know Krazy Horse have been frustrated at the delays in getting the upgrade parts from Morgan , they were talking about it the other day when I popped in to book my car in for it's service .

Sorry, this probably is a language barrier thing, but I don't understand this part. You're getting a new M3W in 2014 without the comfort mod? Do we have to specify we want it? I thought any and all M3W sold in 2014 would have all the upgrades fitted, isn't this right?

PS - When I ordered my Brooklands M3W I was told it would be a 2014-spec car, the only difference being that it won't have the "louvres" at the back of the car.

Some Dealers have pre 2014 models in their showrooms which are new and unregistered. These cars can be updated to the latest 2014 specification with the exception of the strengthened frame near the cylinder heads and the louvers in the rear body work.
My car is a 2013 model but is being updated, I chose this car as I did not want to wait for several months for delivery of the 2014 model and that it was sold at a reduced price.
Hopefully a good deal if I get it soon....

I took over an existing order which was built but still with Morgan. It took 18 days in total to deliver to dealer arrange insurance & tax & me collect it. Don't understand why yours it taking so long. Seems you might as well have ordered new.
