I'm having a MK1 RS2000 restored at the moment by probably THE number one RS man in the country. Will we be seeing it at LMC?

Apparently that Dodge will be at Prescott this weekend. We're wondering how to get it around the turn onto the Return Road...

Any straight two door Escort shell (Mk1 or 2) is worth silly money these days due to historic rallying.
Then mix in a genuine AVO shell and you are on-route to a big spend. I visited a workshop recently with the prospect of supplying a Paint scheme. The owner had a section of his building full of FORD stuff, one item been a MK1 two door rolling shell, I was knocked off my feet when he suggested he had refused an offer of Ł10K for it, but suggested if I had Ł12k I could own it, it wasn't until I returned home and did a bit googling that I realised he wasn't mad

Apparently that Dodge will be at Prescott this weekend. We're wondering how to get it around the turn onto the Return Road... It has no seat belts, a bench front seat and soggy suspension. The driver had one hand out of the window grabbing the roof edge whilst cornering and twirling the steering wheel like mad! Oh....and on the dash is a statue of the Virgin Mary holding a chequered flag!

Apart from the AVO stuff, the Mk1 Escort was a seriously dull car in period. I preferred the Corsair - good memories of a 2000E which I recall was the V4 - gulp.

Yes, I've seen a piccy of him doing that - from one of the guys on the Rescue unit today. He won't have an arm out the window on track this weekend...

Could drive that far in a bean can plus not sure it'll be complete by then. You taking the 3 Wheeler? I'm not sure what to take this year.....That Pratt of a Brother in Law of mine is possible taking his monster wife.....To say us boys are not happy is an understatement

Probably the aero. Toms faking the +4 with a few mates and he's camping. He's after taking the 3w but I can't get him insured on it.
My daughters finishing at Uni so I've been persuaded to take her along. Don't worry though she'll stand up for herself.
