It brought back great memories as an owner of a new Mexico in 1973 and then a RS2000 Mk2 in 1976. I liked the Escorts, they were fun, cheap to run and for their day were reasonably quick. I sold the RS2000 for the same price as I bought it 5 years later and now they seem to be going for £25K. banghead

I bought a 12 month old 1978 RS2000, sold it 2 years later £3200 and a bought a very tired 1971 plus 8 for £3000. There started my 30 year relationship with Morgans.
