Dog in a Mog

300 mile round trip with my Border Collie, Ben.
Top down all the way, like you do.
Then on the way home, the light is beginning to fade as the evening sets in, and then about 30miles from home, a few spots of rain begin to splatter on us. Not much, but a little bit.
Ben sits up and looks at me as if to say..'well..are you going to do something about that?'
Oh ok Ben I say to him and at the next service station he sits there watching me faf about erecting the hood, pearing at me through the windscreen as if to say 'are you going to be long?'
Dogs eh... laugh2

Pete I was looking at Re-Trims on the PC typed it in and up came cars&classic.co.uk after looking at the retrims for ideas I looked at the next page and what should it be but a 1938 BSA Scout Tourer like your dads for sale. Dont know what the odds are on that I better purchase a Euro ticket tonight never know I may get 1 number. grin2

The kids sat on knees . 150 mile to Whitby and back on the old roads dad said it took early m/ing till late night to do it , still got his old RAC stuff ( but not his badge ) . I think the scout was a 4 and the Cub a 3 wheeler. drive

if it does not have a head gasket it is his laugh apparantly during the war he blew a head gasket, could not get any gasket material so using jewelers paste matched the head perfectly to the block, it was like it when he sold the car. His grandfather (a blacksmith) was somewhat proud or so the story goes.
