Watch out, Peter, you have to mount the control unit in the boot of the car!

Peter.
Seriously I have every sympathy for your predicament. Damage to the Morgan is a nasty experience. Sounds like you sorted it out quickly though and well done for that. Hope the knee gets better soon.

If you see a petite blonde wandering around near St James Park with coat, gloves, scarf and woolly hat on; it could be my daughter.
She works at the Uni Business School, loves Newcastle, but having spent most of her life in Devon, still struggles with the local climate.

Ask her if she knows Dr Joan Harvey her brother has a Gilburn , another woman I know teaches there but we stopped speaking to her. She liked the men even though married . I told her she had a child and ought to wake up she had broken one mans marriage, but he could have said no . Called at our home when my wife was out I did not even give her a cup of tea , must have been the coldest man she had come across .

Peter - what you describe is very familiar. I did the same to the OSR wheel arch about a year ago. Hell, this is going to be expensive, I thought. Showed the deformation to the dealer, whereupon he said "What we do is to get hold of these bits, you push and I'll pull" - and Bob's your uncle. All straightened out and no cracked paint. Parking sensor? Excellent idea, especially with two brick pillars either side of my drive entrance.

Even cheaper on amazon. Would the overriders create false alerts?

I used to think reversing sensors were a gurly thing, but we all do it, don't we..?

I love them now. I'd have them all round if I could, it's an aid not a control after all.

AS an ex-HGV driver (a good number of years ago) I laughed at the MINI Clubman having rear parking sensors. But the number of times I put the back of the Polo into the hedge at work... blush grin2
