I also would like clarity on which number we are to use for the registry. My VIN ends in 458 but my chassis and wooden frame are marked 498. Order number was 74875, December 2012.

Obviously I don't have my car yet (it won't go unnoticed in TM when that happens, LOL but I already know the VIN number (I suppose it is the VIN, it's that long line of numbers and letters.

And the only part I do understand is M3WV2

the final numbers point to my car being well above 2000, and I see no letter "B" anywhere, so maybe the fact that it's a Brooklands is not revealed in that sequence of numbers/letters.

I guess it'll be easier to write in the Registry the Brooklnads number. It'll be on the dash and it's a simple number somewhere between 1 and 50.

2 for Mark 2
And 17 in the Mark 2 model
The vin is marked under the seat

It seems that people are not using the numbers from the same location on the registry which will lead to inaccuracies and undermine the whole purpose of it. Also people can't seem to keep things in numerical order as they add their information. How hard is that?
