Stringers Best Mate, I am working on sharing a couple of pictures. Indeed, a great father and son experience!
Kind regards,
Bert

I ran the Plus 8 both yesterday and today. Albeit quick trips to pick things up that were on the 'to do' list. Still working the timing issues. I have been bracketing (old artillery method) to get it right. Now set at 7 Degrees. Good power and no pinking. Still working it though. Idle is a bit high (1200 rpm.) Now to seem to have developed a bit of an oil leak. Need to get the car up on the lift and have a look see.
Cheers,

Mark

Up to the Lyme Kiln near Langport yesterday evening for Wessex Noggin, with NeilM as co-pilot (he was feeling lazy). Beautiful evening for a drive, after we drove the 35 miles back with virtually clear skies and a near full moon which as usual the co-pilot gave me the accurate name for its phase which I cannot remember. Time to de-moth Rosie's front!

The key word is nearly.
Full moon tonight.
I'll be staying inn with all doors and windows locked.
That's because of the chains and cuffs securing me in the cage..... exting

I drove Rosie around the town and along the front to try and determine where my braking vibration was coming from. This round trip was 2 miles in the sun and then back to the garage, up on the axle stands and rear drums off to find nearly expired rear shoes and worse of all a knackered offside brake cylinder rusted and weeping. doh. Rosie's only done 27K so I would advise all spirited Morgan owners to check the rear brakes at least every 10K miles. Parts to be collected tomorrow ready for a hopefully sunny weekend and more drive time. drive

Not driven my Morgan today BUT have been driven in the factory Three Wheeler by a TMer on his first drive of one. I won't spoil it for him as I'm sure he'll post about it!
I rather extended the test route as it was him!
